Self-driving version of Lalamove, the US startup Kiwibot, targets the pain point of a shortage of delivery personnel by employing self-driving robots to deliver orders on campus. Not only does it successfully address the problem of manpower shortage, but it also makes 'ordering delivery on campuses' less of a luxury, offering students more options. However, Felipe Chávez Cortés, the founder of Kiwibot, has emphasized that self-driving robots are connected to the internet and equipped with multiple sensors and cloud services, making cybersecurity a focal point in Kiwibot's recent strategy. Therefore, Kiwibot acquired a Taiwanese tech startup, AUTO Mobility Solutions, which specializes in AI-driven self-driving and robot security chip development. The aim is to enhance its cybersecurity strength in AI robotics and foster collaboration in self-driving technology through this acquisition. Meanwhile, Kiwibot offers resources that AUTO Mobility Solutions can hardly access and opportunities for AUTO Mobility Solutions' technology to be applied in new and innovative ways, making this acquisition a win-win situation. KiwiBot's acquisition strategy can reflect the international situation between China and the US. Headline - Asia partner Joseph Huang, who facilitated this acquisition, refers to the fact that more and more companies choose to relocate their supply chains away from China, considering the stability of the supply chain. Joseph Huang also points out that this international situation is likely to bring more opportunities to Southeast Asia and Taiwanese startups, making the future of the Taiwanese startup industry promising, foreseeable, and ripe with opportunities. 🔎learn more about Kiwibot and AUTO Mobility Solutions and their global development movement in the future with Meet Global👉https://pse.is/5vkj42 #KiwiBot #AUTOMobilitySolutions #HeadlineAsia #SelfDriving #Robot #Cybersecurity #Innovation #Startup

Turing Serves 9 Countries With Over 380 Government Agencies And Academic Institutions ✨ Global digital technology is booming, particularly in the midst of the epidemic, when a lot of activities have moved fully online and are flooding the internet with a tonne of data and information. Acknowledging the potential for decentralisation and immutability of blockchain technology to improve certificate administration in a number of industries, Yao-Chieh Hu established Turing Space in 2018 with the goal of revolutionising the digital certification space. With the help of TuringCerts, a blockchain-based certificate system, issuers can permanently keep certificate data on the network, increasing the legitimacy and traceability of their certificates. Owners of certificates can utilise management tools to ensure the integrity and authenticity of their certificates. As we enter a new era of technology in the twenty-first century, how can individuals make sense of the abundance of information at their disposal? We are delighted to have Yao-Chieh Hu , the CEO and founder of TuringCerts, discuss his vision, the backstory of the business, and how TuringCerts got to where it is today in this episode. 🚀European Startup 3IPK Expands Its Taiwanese Base to Become a Taiwan Space Agency-TASA Partner 🚀 In the very precise aerospace sector, confidence is essential. NASA intends to deploy several "Data Cubes" on the moon in September of 2023. These cubes will enable astronauts in the future to "check in'' and use blockchain technology to confirm their existence on the moon. The information on the blockchain can be used to validate any scepticism or conspiracy ideas. Not only NASA, but even Slovakian blockchain startup 3IPK sees blockchain's promise in "space." They store extremely private information, such as satellite imaging data and supply chain information, using blockchain technology. This approach has attracted interest from the European Space Agency - ESA , Airbus, and even the Taiwan Space Agency-TASA. Space data can facilitate accurate transactions, just like cryptocurrencies do! The aerospace sector, where mistakes are not tolerated, has greatly benefited from 3IPK's increased reliability! In this episode, Ashley Reeves, Head of Taiwan & Asia Pacific at 3IPK, and co-founder Juraj Z. talk about their shared goal, the history of their company, and how 3IPK came to work with the Taiwan Space Agency-TASA. In this episode of Startup Island TAIWAN Podcast, you will find out: 👉Juraj's dedication to the aerospace sector is not by happenstance. 👉The rationale behind establishing a firm in Taiwan 👉Some of the supply chain management difficulties that businesses in this industry confront 👉In what ways do blockchain and other technologies ensure security, legitimacy, and confidence? 👉In what direction do Ashley and Juraj see 3IPK heading? By Partnering With The Global Giant Abbott, Health2Sync 智抗糖 Is Advancing The Treatment of Diabetes According to estimates from the United Nations, 500 million people worldwide receive a diabetes diagnosis every five seconds, and by 2030, there will be an estimated 643 million cases. Ed Deng noticed how time-consuming and error-prone it was for family members to record their blood sugar levels on a regular basis in order to effectively manage diabetes, particularly while interacting with carers or healthcare institutions. Co-founding Health2Sync 智抗糖 in 2013, he started creating digital healthcare solutions. Patients can record their daily health data with the Health2Sync 智抗糖 app by integrating it with various devices and measurements, such as blood pressure, weight scales, wireless insulin pens, and blood sugar monitors. Healthcare providers may easily and reliably examine this data on the Patient Management Platform, which serves as a foundation for appropriate medicine prescriptions and food recommendations. Worldwide, there are over 1.2 million registered users of the Health2Sync 智抗糖 app. Health2Sync 智抗糖 has partnered with global leaders in diabetes treatment, including Abbott, Sanofi, Novo Nordisk, and AstraZeneca. The company's global reach encompasses more than 600 healthcare facilities and associated institutions. In this episode we are honored to have Ed Deng, Co-Founder and CEO of Health2Sync 智抗糖, join us on this episode to discuss his philosophy and the motivational tales that have contributed to Health2Sync 智抗糖's success. Focusing on addressing the condition of glottic insufficiency, Taiwanese medical device startup APrevent has established their product, APrevent® VOIS, successfully raising $6 million in funding from Taiwania Capital, a company that focuses on high-tech and biotechnology. Different from conventional products in the market that use autologous fat or hyaluronic acid as fillers, or directly implant silicone blocks or titanium metal for thyroplasty, which tend to lead to frequent follow-up visits or secondary surgeries, APrevent® VOIS offers a better solution by implanting a self-expandable balloon in the throat for healing. This successfully addresses the problem of frequent follow-up visits or secondary surgeries, not only relieving the burden on both patients and their families but also enhancing patients’ quality of life. With European CE certification obtained in 2019, APrevent® VOIS is now being utilized in countries such as Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, and Finland through insurance coverage. APrevent is also applying for FDA clinical trials for the US market and utilizing the CE Mark policy for Southeast Asian countries, actively expanding into international markets. With the new investment from Taiwania Capital and their strong network in the medical device industry in Central and Eastern Europe, APrevent’s global strategy is poised to be powerful and seamless. 🔎learn more about APrevent and their global development movement in the future with Meet Global👉https://pse.is/5us2x6 #APrevent #Biotech #APreventVOIS #Innovation #Startup #TaiwaneseStartup
